Onix Solutions goes live with the CME

London financial markets software specialists Onix Solutions today announced that it has completed the certification of its FIX Engine and FAST FIX market data handler against the CME Globex platform.

This was a customer driven initiative, — said Richard Barker business liaison manager. Three clients who were already using our FIX Forge software requested the MDP FAST handler within days of it going live. We took the opportunity to certify against both iLink and the MDP FAST feed simultaneously such that in the future clients will not be required to repeat the process. We have also prepared software that meets the CME audit trail requirements and will reduce the burden further in this the final step of the CME's client on-boarding process. The complete package is available upon request.

I was most pleased to hear that the first client to connect to the MDP FAST feed managed to go live within three hours of receiving the package.
