# OrderStatusRequest <H> message

## FIX 5.0 SP2 EP299

### Description

 The [OrderStatusRequest <H>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_H_72.html) message is used by the institution to generate an order status message back from the broker.
