# TestSuiteDefinitionRequest <EL> message

## FIX 5.0 SP2 EP299

### Description

[TestSuiteDefinitionRequest <EL>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_EL_6976.html) is used to convey to the test system the suite of test scenarios to perform.

 This message stages on the test system the details of a test suite to run to test the algo. The test suite contains one or more test scenarios (i.e. test cases) along with the details for each test scenario.
