# AllocationReportAck <AT> message

## FIX 5.0 SP2 EP299

### Description

 The [AllocationReportAck <AT>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AT_6584.html) message is used to acknowledge the receipt of and provide status for an [AllocationReport <AS>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AS_6583.html) message.

 It is possible that multiple [AllocationReportAck <AT>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AT_6584.html) messages can be generated for a single [AllocationReport <AS>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AS_6583.html) message to acknowledge the receipt and then to detail the acceptance or rejection of the [AllocationReport <AS>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AS_6583.html) message.

 It is recommended, when appropriate, that the [MatchStatus <573>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/tagNum_573.html) field be used in the [AllocationReportAck <AT>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AT_6584.html) to denote whether any financial details provided in the [AllocationReport <AS>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/msgType_AS_6583.html) with [AllocStatus <87>](https://www.onixs.biz/fix-dictionary/5.0.sp2.ep299/tagNum_87.html) of 'Accepted' were matched by the Initiator. If a match takes place and succeeds, then the match status will be '0-Compared and affirmed'. If the match takes place and fails, or no match takes place, then the match status will be '1-Uncompared or unaffirmed'.
