About Us
Onix Solutions Limited [OnixS] is a financial services technology software business specialising in market data and trading access solutions. OnixS has three product sets:
- A range of FIX and FAST implementations called the OnixS selfConnect products
- The OnixS selfConnect products are .NET, C++ and JAVA FIX engine and FAST encoder/decoder implementations designed to be easily integrated within trading application frameworks.
- The OnixS directConnect products
- are out-of-the-box connectivity and market data solutions calibrated and certified for specific firms, exchanges and venues. The OnixS directConnect products come with a service level guarantee that they are fit for production use, and maintained in step with any updates/changes implemented by the associated venues.
- The OnixS Tools
- include the free online reference FIX Dictionary and the FIX Analyser products. These OnixS tools provide reference and diagnosis aids to development and operational support resources supporting critical trading infrastructure.
All OnixS implementations are designed to be highly performant, reliable implementations with well documents API's, and packaged for rapid development and deployment. The standard distribution packages include getting started sample reference implementations including sample market data and trading clients, and benchmarking tools.
The OnixS commercial model is based on a subscription usage fee that is inclusive of license, maintenance support, upgrades and updates to the software, industry protocol standards, and the venue specific API implementations. This provides users with the option to switch implementation platforms, to upsize or downsize the number of deployments and venues in use within a flexible cost basis. The OnixS support services are designed to support business critical global trading windows, and are a strategic part of our value and service level commitment to our user base.
OnixS was established in April 2005, and has an established global user base of blue chip trading firms, funds, venues and independent software vendors (ISV's).
