OnixS directConnect provides a unique approach to Direct Market Access (DMA).

There are many excellent third party routing systems available and also software packages which provide multiple Exchange/Broker/ECN connectivity. The convenience is at the expense of additional latency and additional cost.

For those wishing to connect to a number of trading destinations OnixS directConnect provides a single common interface to all with no additional latency. The semantics, syntax and methods for all destinations whether FIX compliant, FIX like or proprietary are common. The process for adding one destination is identical to all others, but fees are only payable for what you consume.

Market data handlers are also included for each destination where applicable in adition to the trading handler. Currently the market data formats supported are FIX, FAST, ITCH, MDF and HSVF.

The suite currently contains a number of popular trading destinations and further destinations are added by client driven request. Almost all are certified "out of the box."
